The short version. When you check out, you agree to the content being delivered immediately, and that waives the usual right to cancel a distance purchase. That's how instant downloads work everywhere.
I don't hide behind it. If you bought something and genuinely regret it, email hello@nam9000.com, tell me what happened, and I'll look at it properly. It isn't a button — it's a conversation with the person who made the thing.
Try it first — most of it is free to hear
Nearly everything can be played in your own rig, through your own interface, before you spend a thing. If you're unsure, this is the answer — not a refund later.
| What | Hear it free |
|---|---|
| Multichannel amps | 5 minutes at a time, every channel, full quality — start another audition as often as you like |
| Drive pedals | 30 seconds at a time, full features, marked PREVIEW |
| The plugin itself | Free forever — the whole rig and the capture studio |
| A real hero pack | Free in the download — Brit 800 with its full 18-capture GAIN sweep |
That last one matters: the free Brit 800 pack is not a demo or a teaser. It is exactly the same kind of thing I sell, given away — so you can know precisely what a €9 pack feels like before buying one.
Before you ask — it's often not a refund you need
Most people who write asking for their money back have a fixable problem, and it usually takes minutes:
- Blank plugin window, or "script error" dialogs? That's the Edge WebView2 runtime missing. Install it, restart, done — see the FAQ.
- Key never arrived? Check spam — that's where it is most of the time, especially on Yahoo, ymail and AOL. Every key is logged here, so I can re-send it in minutes.
- Bought the wrong thing? Say so. Two products share a family name — the €9 hero packs and the €12 multichannel heads are different things. I'd rather swap it than refund it, and so would you.
- Can't get it to sound right? Tell me what you're going for. I've mixed metal for ten years; there's a decent chance the answer is a setting, not a return.
If you still want your money back
Email hello@nam9000.com with:
- your order number (on the receipt, and in the licence email),
- what you bought and why it isn't right for you, and
- what you already tried, if it's a technical problem.
I read all of it myself. If you've been straight with me, you'll get a straight answer back — usually the same day, and usually yes.
What I say yes to, and what I don't
Being honest about this is fairer than pretending there's a formula.
Yes, readily: it doesn't work on your system and we couldn't fix it; it isn't what the store page led you to expect; you bought the wrong item; you were charged twice; something about the purchase went wrong at my end.
Probably not: you've downloaded and installed the content, kept it, and simply changed your mind — particularly on something you could have auditioned free first. And not where there's a pattern of buying and returning.
Requests are considered case by case, and I reserve the right to decline one. In practice I've never refused someone with a real reason, and I'd rather lose a sale than have you feel cheated.
What happens if a refund is agreed
- The money goes back to your original payment method through Lemon Squeezy, who handle checkout. Their processing usually takes a few working days to show on a statement.
- Your licence for that item stops being supported and may be disabled in a future version of the app. Please stop using the content you were refunded for — a refund undoes the purchase, not just the payment.
- Nothing else is affected. Other packs, the free app, and any captures you made yourself all keep working.
Why it works this way
A pack is a few hundred captures that took days of studio time, and once it's on your disk it can't be handed back like a parcel. A no-questions return button on something uncopyable-back is an invitation, and the cost of that lands on the price everyone else pays.
So the friction here is deliberate, and it's exactly one step: you have to write to a person and say what went wrong. That's it. No forms, no ticket number, no waiting on hold. It keeps the honest path easy and the lazy path closed, and it's the reason packs are €9 instead of €19.
Chargebacks
Please just email first. A chargeback takes weeks, costs considerably more than the sale was worth, and involves your bank in something I would almost certainly have just said yes to. Nobody wins that one.
The legal position
Checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy, who are the merchant of record — they are the seller on your receipt and they collect and remit EU VAT. Their buyer terms are what you agree to at checkout, and they include your consent to immediate delivery of digital content and the resulting loss of the statutory right of withdrawal.
Everything on this page is therefore a policy I choose to offer, not a right you'd have to argue for. That's rather the point of writing it down.
